The Clash matchday format

COMPETE. BREAK BREAD. PLAY TOGETHER.

A Clash matchday has its own rhythm: competitive singles match play, an incredible home-team potluck, then doubles stroke play with friends. Here's how the day unfolds.

01 / FIRST ROUNDTHE COMPETITION

Singles match play.

Face a player from the opposing team and compete hole by hole in match play. Win more holes than your opponent to take the singles matchup and earn a point for your team.

Bring your best game.
02 / BETWEEN ROUNDSTHE FELLOWSHIP

Amazing potluck meal.

The home team provides a potluck meal for everyone. Both teams gather to eat, share stories, laugh, and get to know the people they're competing against.

Good food. Better company.
03 / FINAL ROUNDTHE FUN

Doubles stroke play.

Finish with a friend in doubles stroke play, competing for the lowest total score. Each doubles win earns points for the team, while playing together adds a fun, social side to the competition.

Win together. Have fun together.
Fun. Fellowship. Disc Golf.

MORE THAN A MATCH. IT'S A DAY TOGETHER.

Come ready to compete. Stay to share a table with the other team. Finish the day playing alongside your friends. It's the mix of rivalry and friendship that makes the Clash special.

A competitive league with a community spirit

PLAY HARD.
HAVE FUN.

Singles match play brings head-to-head intensity. The home team's potluck gives everyone a chance to connect. Doubles stroke play closes the day alongside friends.

Throughout the season, teams follow matchups, results, standings, and stories—but the real reward is the community built between rounds and across the table.

Players on matchday

Each team has 18 designated playing positions, with up to 16 men (including two players age 50+) and two positions reserved for women. Additional women can participate.

Maximum standard season roster

25 men4 women

Additional women may be rostered beyond the four standard women's spots.

The larger season roster helps teams cover player availability from match to match. You don't need a complete group just to start planning—find a captain, gather interested players, and follow the league while preparing for next season.

These are the current season's roster guidelines. Requirements for 2027–28 will be confirmed when registration opens.
Can a new area join this season?

No. The current 2026–27 season is underway. The earliest opportunity for a new team or community to be considered is next season, 2027–28.

Does joining the Facebook group register a team?

No. The Facebook group is a place to connect and prepare. Official registration and any team approvals happen through the league's published process.

What should a potential team prepare?

Start with an interested captain, a group of committed players, and a course where your team may be able to host matches. Final requirements and participation decisions rest with the commissioners.
