Beast Mode pushed the defending champions before falling 19.5–17 at Riptide. Now comes another road test against a Dark Knights team that opened with a convincing 23–13 win over KB. The Knights want a 2–0 start; Beast Mode wants to avoid an 0–2 hole. Proven winners—and familiar opponents wearing different colors—give this clash plenty of intrigue.

Brooks McGill — CI 1020
The league’s current Open CI leader opened 2–0 against Riptide. His recorded career singles mark is 7–0–1, making him a formidable presence near the top of Beast Mode’s lineup.
Hastin McGill — CI 943
The captain also opened 2–0. Last season, Hastin and Brooks lost a doubles contest to Eric England and Lucian Odom of Hayneous OG’s. With England now a Knight, there’s a familiar challenge across the aisle.
PLAYERS TO WATCH — DARK KNIGHTS
Whit Stephenson — CI 999
The Knights’ highest-rated active roster player owns a recorded 3–0 career singles mark and 2–1 doubles record. If available, he provides a strong answer to Beast Mode’s upper lineup.
Eric England — CI 968
England is a recorded 4–0 against Beast Mode: two singles and two doubles wins across the previous two seasons with Hayneous OG’s. That includes the doubles win over Brooks and Hastin. A small sample, but a compelling history.
